Re: Regular Poster Abstract Submission Deadline of April 14, 2003

Late-Breaking Research Abstract Submission Deadline
of June 2, 2003

Dear Colleague,

We invite you to participate in the World Congress on Huntington’s Disease (WCHD), August 16-19, 2003, in Toronto, Ontario, Canada at the Marriott Toronto Eaton Centre (Congress headquarters).

We anticipate more than 400 scientists, clinical investigators, care providers and members of the HD community in attendance, providing a diverse audience from more than fifty countries. The WCHD Program Committee has worked for the past year to create a novel and wide-ranging scientific program featuring presentations on clinical and basic aspects of Huntington’s disease, plus updates in genetics, pathogenesis, experimental therapeutics, public policy, social and historical perspectives and late-breaking research reports.

We invite attendees to prepare and submit a scientific abstract not to exceed 300 words. The WCHD scientific poster presentations will be held on Sunday, August 17 and Monday, August 18. The deadline for regular abstract submission is Monday, April 14, 2003. Please refer to the Instructions for Poster Abstract Submissions. All abstracts must be submitted by email using the form accessible by clicking here.

The WCHD Program Committee has also made provisions for late-breaking poster research presentations, with a special abstract deadline of Monday, June 2, 2003. The late-breaking research topics must represent new and previously unpublished data that are worthy of a featured poster presentation at the Congress. All accepted poster abstracts will be published in the World Congress on Huntington’s Disease program and made available to the attendees at our web site.

Submitted abstracts (regular and late-breaking research) will be considered for poster presentation only; however, some accepted abstracts may be selected for featured discussion at the Poster Review and Research Directions scientific session on August 18.

We look forward to welcoming you to the World Congress on Huntington’s Disease in Toronto in August!

Sincerely yours,

The World Congress on Huntington's Disease Scientific Program Committee Members:
