Preliminary Program as of July 7th, 2003

The 16th Meeting of the International Huntington Association

"Updating Dr. Huntington"
A Program Marking the 125th Anniversary of "On Chorea"

Much in the world has changed since George Huntington published "on Chorea," his 1872 paper describing the disease that has come to carry his name. 125 years later we have reproductive choice, the identification of a juvenile form, the development of rehabilitation and explosion of biotechnology are examples. These speakers from around the world consider how far we have come and point out what may lie ahead. Every topic in the program is a development or innovation since Dr. Huntington first cared for the families in Easthampton, New York, USA 125 years ago.
