Huntington's Indy Go-Kart Challenge

The Indy is a fun family event where teams of up to six people get pledges from friends and family and share a go-kart for two hours of driving fun. The Indy is currently held in locations across Canada, and each location is run entirely by our dedicated volunteers. The participants have a wonderful time driving the go-karts and we award the top fundraisers with prizes. You can participate in four ways: register your team of six people to participate in the Indy, or sign up to drive yourself and we'll put you on a team; sponsor someone else participating in the event; make a donation to the Indy program; or volunteer to help organize your local Indy. For more information, contact Frank Prospero

Amaryllis

Volunteers of the Society sell Amaryllis plants during the Fall to raise money for the fight against Huntington disease. The plants come in kits, each containing a bulb, pot and saucer, soil and care instructions, and are priced at $12.00. Planted immediately, the bulbs will bloom in approximately six - eight weeks. They can be kept unplanted for Christmas gift giving. The flower is the Orange Souvereign Amaryllis, a tall plant topped with bright orange blooms. Across Canada, almost 23,000 kits are sold each Fall. To buy an amaryllis kit, contact your nearest Chapter. If you'd like to join the team of Amaryllis sellers by selling as few as 12 Amaryllis kits, contact Frank Prospero at extension 32, or download an Amaryllis order form here.
